What is Discount Buying Club?
Discount Buying Club (DBC) is a members-only savings club for travel and everyday living. Think of it like a warehouse club card: because many members buy together, we can get the lower prices usually saved for big companies, and you pay those lower prices too.
Who is Five Diamond Club?
Five Diamond Club is the company that provides DBC's travel and lifestyle benefits. When you join DBC, your member savings, booking tools and rewards are powered by Five Diamond Club.
Is the Free membership really free?
Yes. The Free (Standard) membership costs $0, has no time limit, and does not ask for a credit card. You can use the member rates and decide later whether you want to upgrade.
How do I join?

Which membership should I choose?
Free if you want to try DBC with no risk. Silver for extra savings at a low price. First-Class if you travel often and want travel credits and a complimentary yearly vacation. Deluxe Pioneer for everything in First-Class plus our deepest resort and cruise savings and to earn referral fees. Compare all levels.
Is it cheaper to pay yearly?
Yes. Paying yearly costs about the same as 10 months, so you save roughly 17%. For example, First-Class is $29.97 a month or $299.97 a year.
Are there any signup fees?
No. Every membership level has a $0 signup fee.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can start with Free and upgrade to Silver, First-Class or Deluxe Pioneer at any time.
Can I cancel? Will I get a refund?
Paid memberships renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel before your next renewal. First-Class and Deluxe Pioneer fees are non-refundable, so please choose the level that fits you. To cancel, change your level or update your card, use the Manage My Membership link at the bottom of any page, or contact us for help.
Using your benefits
How much can I really save?
It depends on what you book and when. Members can save up to 65% or more on some hotels, resorts and cruises, and up to 90% on some prescriptions. Savings are "up to" amounts and vary by provider, date and availability.
Can my family use my membership?
Most benefits are for the member's personal use and can't be shared with others. Many travel bookings let you bring guests on your own trip. Ask us about your situation.
How do I log in to use my benefits?
Use the Member Log In link at the bottom of any page. You'll sign in to the Five Diamond Club member portal, where you can search and book.
Earning referral fees
How do referral rewards work?
Every member can earn rewards for referring friends. Paid members earn ongoing referral fees, and the Deluxe Pioneer Affiliate Partner Program adds free luxury travel rewards for referrals. Earnings depend on your own effort and are not guaranteed.
Do I need to be a salesperson?
No. You can simply use DBC for your own savings. Referring others is completely optional.
